The Regavim movement for preservation of state lands urged Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the diplomatic security cabinet on Monday to formulate an Israeli response to the Palestinian Authority's actions in Area C of Judea and Samaria, which are under full Israeli responsibility.

PA cabinet leader Mohammad Shtayyeh announced, Sunday night, a series of moves aimed at intensifying PA takeover efforts in Area C. Regavim CEO Meir Deutsch called on the government to a series of sanctions to curb and prevent the PA's building plans, including in Areas A and B - which are under PA control. He also called for ministers to examine Israel's economic policy towards the PA, including the imposition of severe and significant economic sanctions, which will make it clear that the State of Israel will not accept unilateral actions taken by the PA.
