Police officers rescued eight people Sunday who had been trapped in a winery in Hof HaCarmel.
The basement and first floor of the building in which the eight had been trapped were flooded as a result of the recent heavy rains.
Three women and five men were rescued from the building by police units dispatched to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
