The body of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani was brought to Iran for burial Sunday.
The body of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the leader of the pro-Iranian Shiite militias in Iraq, was also brought to Iran.
Soleimani and al-Muhandis were killed in a US airstrike in Iraq in Sunday.
