Tel Aviv District Court meted a 5-year sentence to Yosef Lugassi (38) of Tel Aviv for killing Luis Bajaro, a 31-year-old Columbia citizen.
According to the sentencing, the accident occurred on Sheetrit Street in Tel Aviv on May 16, 2018 at 3:40 pm while the deceased was working, as part of his work as a contractor for the Tel Aviv Municipality, marking roads. The defendant struck him with his vehicle while intoxicated and traveling at excessive speed.
