Former U.S. ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro related to the killing of Qassem Soleimani and stated that "Soleimani's end was deserved in spades".
"But here's the problem with impulsive decisions, divorced from strategy", Shapiro continued in his tweet, "What's next? Very likely, overwhelming pressure on Iraqi govt to expel US forces. Or Trump just pulls out (like Syria)".
Shapiro concluded that the result will actually be increased Iranian influence in Iraq.
