A 20-billion-shekel lawsuit is being filed In the Jerusalem District Court against the Arab Bank, whose center is in Jordan, for its involvement in financing terrorist attacks that took place in Israel Judea, Samaria and Gaza from 1995-2005, by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Fatah and other organizations.
This is the first time a lawsuit has been filed against a bank for its involvement in terrorist financing. The plaintiffs are 1,132 victims of terrorism, estates and families of victims who were murdered or wounded. Regarding the implementation of the judgment, when it arrives, an attorney for the plaintiffs told Arutz Sheva that since the Bank does not have branches in Israel but only in the Palestinian Authority, it is conceivable that it will be difficult to execute the verdict and the decision will be made on United States or European land, in accordance with the legal process that will continue there and grant validity for the Israeli decision.
