The Ministry of Agriculture has accepted a diplomatic directive to allow strawberries from Gaza to enter Israel, in addition to tomatoes and eggplant.
The strawberries will only be introduced into Israel after they receive approval from the Ministry of Health. It is estimated that with the arrival of the Gaza strawberries, the price of the fruit is expected to decrease significantly.
