The rate of flu referrals to health funds continues to climb - and has even exceeded the peak average in the previous decade, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation, based on referrals to the Clalit and Maccabi health funds.
At the same time, the mortality rate this year has been relatively low compared to previous years.
