The financial volume of mortgages for the purchase of an apartment in 2019 is expected to reach a record 65 billion shekels, according to Bank of Israel data released in recent days, assuming that the rate of mortgage purchases by home buyers in December will not change.
The last record was recorded in 2015, when the volume of mortgages was placed at NIS 64.7 billion.
