The first inter-ministerial meeting on applying Israeli sovereignty in the Jordan Valley, which was supposed to take place last week, was canceled at the last moment, according to Yediot Ahronot.
The reason for the cancellation was the assessment that the General Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague was going to publish preliminary results of her examination of Palestinian Authority complaints of war crimes against Israel. The concern was that the convening of the staff at this time would intensify the confrontation with the ICC.
