Labor-Gesher Party chairman Amir Peretz and his family lit the first Hanukkah candles at their home in Sderot Sunday evening.
Member of Knesset Peretz said, "Every holiday we gather, Ahlama and I, along with the children and grandchildren, for a great and happy family celebration. Hanukkah is an opportunity to have an honest and open conversation about building our shared future. Our family love that comes out of the Gaza envelope and Israel as a whole today reinforces the belief that the day will come that there will be social justice and peace."
