Druze former communications minister Ayoob Kara said, Thursday morning, "The image and action of Geulah Cohen for the establishment and security of the State of Israel will always be a lamp unto my feet."
Writing on Twitter, Kara continued, "The strong belief in the correctness of the path that the land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel led her with determination and supreme valor to the fulfillment of the goal of establishing the State of Israel protecting the people of Israel in the land of Israel." He noted, "Thanks to you I was educated on the knees of my grandfather Salman Kara, who collaborated with the Lehi [Stern Gang pre-state militia and] who had a brother in common [with you] out of choice, the late Yusef Abu Ghosh, and so I naturally connected with your son Tzachi [Hanegbi] and we made our way to the Likud leadership."
