A Russian court will resume a hearing on Thursday on Israeli Naama Issachar's seven-and-a-half year sentence for a small amount of marijuana found when she tried to fly through Moscow on her way home to Israel from India.
Her lawyers have petitioned to release her as soon as possible. The hearing was interrupted last week, after judges agreed to Issachar's request to be present in the courtroom instead of participating via video conference from the prison where she is being held.
