Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein has eulogized Geulah Cohen, calling her "a Zionist warrior with all her might, from the struggle for the establishment of the State of Israel in Etzel [Irgun] and Lehi [Stern Gang pre-state militias] to an uncompromising struggle for settlement in all parts of Israel."
Edelstein added, "I am personally indebted to her for her war for the liberation of prisoners of Zion in the Soviet Union, I being one of them."
