Knesset Member Gideon Sa'ar, who is facing Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu recently called for a debate before the Likud's preliminary elections.
"In every democratic race - the contestants are not the story. The elected officials are the public's servants. They are a tool for the citizens of the state to make it better. Members of the Likud and the citizens of Israel desserve a debate where positions and plans of action will be presented on the political-security, economic, social, judicial fields, and more. Therefore, a debate is required: clean, to-the-point, and fair."
