Hevron-area arrests tied to Hamas anniversary

The defense establishment says the Wednesday-evening arrests of former Palestinian Authority minister Minister Issa Al-Jabari, PA parliament member Muhammad Jamal Al-Natshi and senior Hamas member Jawad Bahar Al-Natshi in the Hevron area by the Israel Defense Forces and Shabak Israel Security Agency was part of a preventive operation ahead of the anniversary of Hamas's founding, which is expected to include disorders throughout Judea and Samaria.
