Minister Ofir Akunis has told public radio that he supports Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in the Likud leadership primaries.
Akunis said, "I support Netanyahu and I do not deny [Member of Knesset Gid'on] Saar's legitimate right to run. If the public, which is the sovereign, decides on the ballot slip that Netanyahu should be given the task of forming the government - that's the way it will be."
