The Supreme Court has ordered the state to consider allowing Palestinian Arabs who claim to own the land of Amona access to the site, Haaretz reported Wednesday.

In a hearing this week in a petition demanding that they be allowed into the area, the state claimed that the order was issued to prevent friction on the ground.

In response, Supreme Court President Esther Hayut said "the reasoning that increased forces would be required to allow people to exercise their rights...raises a difficulty."
