Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion met on Monday with officials of the United States State Department and with local embassy staff regarding the process of setting up the permanent US embassy in the capital. After the meeting, Mayor Lion said, "The American embassy has today received a green light from the municipality of Jerusalem. Within six months we will reach advanced stages and with the help of God in a few years we will be able to inaugurate the permanent office of the American embassy in the capital."
