British Prince Charles on Thursday hosted guests from the Jewish community at Buckingham Palace in honor of the upcoming holiday of Hanukkah, Channel 13 News reported.
In his remarks, Prince Charles said Britain has been a warm home for persecuted Jews throughout history, mentioning, among other things, his grandmother, Princess Alice, who was a Righteous Among the Nations and who is buried in Jerusalem. He did not address the anti-Semitism in Britain.
