Mayor Tayssir Abu Sneinah of Hevron - one of the terrorists who carried out a massacre there 40 years ago and was freed in a prisoner exchange - has attacked Defense Minister Naftali Bennett's decision to advance the planning of a new Jewish neighborhood in the city's wholesale market complex.
The mayor said, "Bennett will bear the consequences. The decision is dangerous and increases the friction between the residents."
