A measles outbreak in the Pacific nation of Samoa has killed 22 people, BBC reported. Nearly all the victims were children under the age of five years.
According to Samoa's government, 1,797 measles cases have been reported, including 153 since Friday.
Last week, the country declared a state of emergency, closing schools, banning children under 17 from public gatherings, and making vaccination mandatory.
