The Histadrut and OPC Energy have signed a collective agreement that will apply to dozens of the company's power plant, located in the Rotem Plain near Dimona.
This is the second renewal agreement and extends the terms of the first agreement signed by the power plant in 2015, and will be valid for four years.
As part of the agreement, employees will benefit from, among other things, an average salary increase of more than 20% per employee during the term of the agreement and annual grants. In addition, 30% of pension benefits for shift workers will also be improved, and leave, vacation and recovery quota will be increased. In addition, as part of the agreement, it was stipulated that employees will receive scholarships for their children's studies.
