A 67-year-old resident of Kfar Bi'ina, east of Acco, was untreatably wounded and another 53-year-old was critically wounded as a result of gunfire. They were evacuated to the Galil Medical Center in Nahariya.
A preliminary police investigation revealed that while the suspects were fleeing the scene, they robbed the driver of a private vehicle with a weapon. Police conducted extensive searches to locate suspects. The background to the incident is still unclear, an investigation has opened.
