European lawyers are coordinating a move designed to bring charges against Israel's political and military leadership for their responsibility for "war crimes" during the last round of conflict in Gaza.

In an interview with newspaper Al-Bayan in the United Arab Emirates, the Secretary General of the International Civil Rights Federation said that Israeli attacks in Gaza are considered a "crime against humanity" as they are a political move by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to achieve political gain. A top member of the federation's British Secretariat's said that Netanyahu's admission of assassinating Islamic Jihad's Baha Abu al-Atta was an indictment against him and those who carried out the attack, and the claim that it was fight against terror and an attack on armed men wouldn't help them.
