Roger Stone, a longtime associate of US President Donald Trump, was convicted on Friday of lying to Congress and witness tampering related to his efforts to feed the Trump campaign inside information about WikiLeaks in 2016, The Hill reports.

Jurors convicted Stone on all seven counts of obstruction, making false statements and witness tampering.
