The Prime Minister's Office confirmed that senior Islamic Jihad commander in Gaza Baha Abu Al Ata, who was responsible for numerous terrorist attacks and rocket attacks against the State of Israel in recent months and intended to carry out immediate attacks, has been eliminated.
"The IDF operation was recommended by the Chief of Staff and the Shin Bet Chief and was approved by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, after presentation and approval by the Cabinet."
