Women for the Wall Founder Leah Zakh Aharoni today responded to the provocation by the Woman of the Wall group who infiltrated Rosh Chodesh prayers at the holy site and contravened tradition, causing a general disturbance:
"Thousands came out for a festive Rosh Chodesh service at the Kotel today and unfortunately leaders of the Reform movement and Woman of the Wall decided to stage a provocation, and face off with the police in a show of disrespect for the rule of law.
"Woman for the Wall call upon Women of the Wall and the Reform movement to cease their provocations and return peace to the Kotel."
