Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has criticized the announcement of a probe into the alleged harassment by senior Likud campaign figures of state's witness Shlomo Filber by saying, "The persecution is not stopping. It's a scandal."
Filber is expected to testify Case 4000, which alleges corruption against Netanyahu relative to the Bezeq communications company and the Walla! website.
