The Spokesperson's Office of the Israel Defense Forces said, Thursday morning, "A short time ago, a warning was triggered in the northern part of the area around [Gaza} following incorrect identification from the Gaza Strip toward Israel. The warning system was operated as required, air defense fighters firing interceptors at the targets in accordance with policy."
