Due to the fear of floods, Arugot River has been closed for visitors. In David River, a short trail is open to the Shulamit Waterfall and Ein Gedi spring. The ancient synagogue next to the reserve is also open.
In the north, the hiking trails in the Arbel Cliff Nature Reserve in the Lower Galilee were closed following the rains.
