Zubin Mehta, who conducted the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra for more than 50 years, took to the podium on Sunday for his last concert.

The 83-year-old Mehta lamented, "Among all the things I have accomplished in the last fifty years, one thing remains that I have not achieved - I cannot speak Hebrew." He also said, "I never thought I would be an Israeli icon, or such a well-known person, nor that it would last so long."
