Dan Shapiro, former United States ambassador to Israel, says it is not certain that a mutual defense agreement with the US will be good for Israel.
Interviewed by 103 FM radio, Shapiro said, "Trump will help Israel, but will not do more than he has to. There is military assistance and cooperation between the armies, but it would be a mistake to expect him to participate in a joint strategy with Israel or the Kurds."
