Saudi King Salman has approved deployment of additional U.S. forces and equipment in the country, following the attack on Saudi oil facilities last month, according to the SPA Saudi news agency.
The United States announced on Friday the deployment of some 3,000 soldiers in the Gulf, including fighter squadrons, an air delegation, and air defense personnel, amid mounting tensions with Iran.
