Knesset Attorney Ilan Yanun formulated an opinion stating that the process of 61 MKs choosing the government cannot be advanced by the request to impose a government assembly on one of the Knesset members.
The opinion was prepared in light of the Knesset's request to advance the 21-day period during which the mandate to assemble the government can be imposed on any member of the Knesset.
