The Bank of Israel today announced the allocation of bank code number 18 to the new digital bank.
In Israel, identification of participants in the financial system is carried out using a unique identification code for each body (now known as a "bank code") consisting of two digits.
In order for the new bank to operate on various payment systems and provide account numbers to its customers, the new bank must be identified in all relevant systems in the economy.
