Chairman Avigdor Liberman of the Yisrael Beytenu Party said, Monday evening, "I am pleased that the two major parties have internalized that the order of the hour requires the establishment of a unity government with a rotation of the prime minister. All the debate is currently revolving around the question of who will serve as the prime minister and who will be second."

Liberman added that his party would love to join a national unity government with the two parties, but repeated that it will not sit with the haredi religious, the religious right, the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties or the Democratic Union.
