The official value of the shekel rose an average of .226 percent in mixed trading on Monday against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was set at NIS 3.517, up .114 percent from Friday, while the Euro declined .51 percent to 3.8644 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.3726 shekels, down .898 percent.
