The Democratic Union party attacked MK Yair Lapid (Blue and White) who claimed in an interview earlier on Thursday that it does not matter whether the candidates in the number 8 and number 9 spots on the Democratic Union or the Labor-Gesher lists will make it into the Knesset.
"The 'Rotation Chairman' Lapid prefers Miri Regev and Yariv Levin over Yael Cohen Paran and Noa Rothman. He prefers the corrupt, racists and those who hate judges over those who fight the tycoons who destroy nature and kill animals, and those who act endlessly with courage and dedication for peace," said the party.
"Blue and White - once again you have proven that you do not represent liberal values, you do not represent secular values, you do not represent the peace camp and you certainly do not represent environmental values. Only a vote for the Democratic Union is a vote for a real change in government, which will fight for the environment and peace. Without the Likud, that's for sure," they added.
