Report: U.S. warplanes have carpet-bombed an ISIS-rich island in northern Iraq with 40 tons of laser-guided explosives to wipe out ISIS strongholds and stop the flow of fighters to Syria, according to the Daily Mail.
Operation Inherent Resolve Spokesman Col. Myles B. Caggins tweeted: "Here's what it looks like when @USAFCENT F15 and F35 jets drop 36,000kg of bombs on a Daesh [ISIS] infested island."
