Soccer player convicted of abandoning hit-and-run victim

The Tel Aviv District Court has convicted soccer player Yitzhak Asefa of abandoning Ari Nesher, a boy who died after a hit-and-run accident.

Asefa was also convicted of obstruction of justice. He was acquitted of drunk driving and speeding.
