Police in South African reported on Monday that an Israeli tourist was gang-raped over the weekend and that she and two women who were with her were robbed while vacationing in the town of Graskop in the Mpumalanga district. The police are searching for four suspects.
The Foreign Ministry said it is handling the incident. The consulate in Pretoria was in contact with the other two women and the Department for Israelis Abroad was in contact with the rape victim's family.
