Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said, Monday evening, that the United States government is implementing an upgraded plan to eliminate the Palestinian refugee problem, and the first step in this plan is to try to end the role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency and change the definition of the Palestinian refugee.

Speaking at the Popular Conference in the Fight against the Deal of the Century deal, Haniya expressed strong opposition to the settlement of former Land of Israel Arabs in their host countries, calling for the rebuilding of the Al-Yarmouk camp south of Damascus, which has been destroyed during the civil war. He also said that the patterns of struggle, from peaceful action to armed struggle, should be conducted under the political roof and adherence to the basic principles.
