The haredi-religious Agudat Yisrael Council of Torah Sages met on Wednesday night and called to vote for United Torah Judaism in the upcoming Knesset election as it warned of complacency and the rise of "those who persecute religion".

Later, it was reported that on the Sunday before the elections, the councils and that of Degel Hatorah are expected to join together and hold a joint conference on a in central Jerusalem street, with the participation of many in the haredi public.
