Mayor Yair Revivo of Lod took part in a demonstration against aircraft noise Tuesday morning at the entrance to Ben-Gurion Airport.
He was cited by the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation as saying, "The airport authority has decided to move the take-off paths over the city at 5 am. We demand quiet and will continue to struggle. If need be, we will disrupt airport operations."
