The movement for a Jewish & Democratic State responded to the court's decision to allow a gender segregated performance in Afula.
"We call on Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu to intervene immediately for the religious public in the State of Israel, to reject the opinion of Adv. Dina Zilber on the issue of segregation and to anchor respect for the Jewish religious lifestyle as the position of the national government."
"We hope the High Court will not be dragged into provocation and will dismiss the petition by the women's caucus," the movement said.
