The Democratic Union responded to the demand by Minister Yariv Levin to launch an investigation against former Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
With Marxist-style bombast, the Union issued a statement: "Servants of the Balfour Suspect [allusion to the Prime Minister who lives at the corner of Balfour Street] and their trustees continue to humiliate themselves with the only task that disturbs their rest: Protecting Netanyahu, the suspect of bribery, fraud and breach of trust. Levin is a big man in court, a man whose destruction of Israeli democracy is his life's mission. He insults the legal systems, law enforcement, and their heads; it would be best for him to lower his face before the Israeli public."
