Interior Minister Aryeh Deri has welcomed the Supreme Court's rejection of Tiberias Mayor Ron Cobi's petition against Deri's restoring ousted members of the Tiberias City Council to their positions.
Deri said, "I am pleased that the Supreme Court upheld my decision to allow the four municipalities, Yarka, Tiberias, Rahat and Ussifiyah, to approve the councils' budget by September 30, 2019. Approval of the authorities' budgets is extremely important for their proper functioning and the welfare of the residents."
