Professor Ze'ev Rotstein, Director-General of Hadassah Hospital, has been chosen to chair the Health Ministry committee that determines 700 million shekels in government subsidies for drugs and other medical treatments for 2020.
Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman said additional committee members will be announced in the next few days. Prof. Rotstein said, "I received the announcement with surprise and excitement. This is one of the most important roles in the health system in Israel, and I take full responsibility for me, to work for the public good."
