Jason Greenblatt, United States Special Representative for International Negotiations, wrote on Twitter, Monday, "The Palestinian people have received nothing but a raw deal from the Iranian regime, which sends millions to Hamas and scraps to them and their children." Addressing Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, he continued, "Stop using Palestinians and Jerusalem as a weapon to prop up your failing regime."
He was responding to Zarif's tweet from Sunday in which Zarif called Israeli police handling of Muslim rioting on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem a "crime" and labeled officers as "terrorists".
